Interpreting in the mental health setting can be challenging, yet rewarding.  Seeking training for efficacy of choices will aid your competency and comfort.  Demand Control-Schema,  its Reflective Practices and Supervision are vital to be able to examine the choices we make.  Development of a working knowledge of etiology of deafness, psychopharmacology and their effects on language greatly provide us the necessary foundation to do this work.
