Tara Tobin-Rogers recently obtained her Master's degree from Temple University. She is dually nationally certified by the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID) and resides in Long Island, NY. She holds the QMHI certification awarded by the Office of Deaf Services in Alabama, MHIT for interpreting in the mental health setting. She is also a supervisor for MHIT practicum attendees. She has been involved in the field of deafness since 1998 in various specialties including community interpreting, educational interpreting, VRS interpreting and medical/ mental health interpreting. She is currently the Program Manager of interpreting services for a Long Island based full service psychiatric hospital in Long Island. Tara offers educational presentations for various topics as a SME. Topics include: Demand Control-Schema, Supervision & Reflective Practices. Please contact for full listing of educational offerings.
